Who we are
The Lettings Grid Ltd (“TLG”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our portal. Registered office: Office 1, 23 Heathfield, Stacey Bushes, Milton Keynes, MK12 6HP.
What data we collect
We collect data you give us directly — name, email, phone, role (landlord / tenant / agent / contractor), and the details of any enquiry you send. If you become a member or buy a service, we also collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe).
We collect basic technical data automatically — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the time of your visit. This is used for security and to improve the service.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiries, deliver the services you purchase, manage your membership, send you transactional emails (receipts, reminders, password resets), and to comply with our legal obligations. We will only send you marketing emails if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the suppliers we need to run the service — payment processor (Stripe), email delivery provider, hosting provider, and accounting software. We never sell your data and we never share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and request a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, email support@thelettingsgrid.co.uk. We respond within one month.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for 24 months. Member data is kept while your membership is active and for 6 years afterwards for legal and tax reasons. Anonymous analytics is kept for 12 months.
Cookies
We use cookies for essential site functions and for anonymous analytics. See our cookies policy for the full breakdown.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, contact us first. If we can’t resolve it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
